Founder & CEO at GiftWellSoon | More Than Just a Casserole: Redefining the Way We Give and Receive Support | Breast Cancer Survivor | Associate Program Director, PA Program - Ottawa University | Physician Assistant

I’m a founder and healthcare leader driven by a simple but powerful idea: we can do better when it comes to supporting our loved ones during life’s toughest moments. As the Founder and CEO of GiftWellSoon, I’m working to redefine the way people show up for one another when facing major life challenges. Too often, friends and family want to help but don’t know how—and that uncertainty can lead to missed opportunities for real, meaningful support. GiftWellSoon changes that by offering a platform where kindness and generosity are organized, impactful, and personal. My journey began after witnessing firsthand the isolation and complexity that major illness brings—not just for patients, but for the communities around them. The typical gesture of sending flowers or dropping off a casserole, while thoughtful, often misses the mark in addressing real needs. That’s why I committed to building GiftWellSoon—a platform that empowers recipients to create personalized gift registries that reflect what they truly need, from products to meal services to childcare to financial support. My mission is clear: to transform how we give and receive support during life's toughest moments—one community at a time. Through GiftWellSoon, I want to bridge the gap between intention and action, making it easier for friends, family, and even entire communities to come together in ways that matter most. Looking forward, my vision is to scale GiftWellSoon into a nationally recognized brand that sets a new standard for community-driven support. I believe that with the right tools, we can inspire a movement where intentional giving becomes the norm, not the exception—because sometimes, showing up is more than just a casserole.
