Additional Information

The Kansas Academy of Physician Associates (KAPA) invites you to participate in KAPA’s Legislative Day at the Kansas Statehouse Thursday, February 26, 2026, in Topeka, Kansas.

The event offers a unique opportunity for Kansas PAs to engage directly with state lawmakers on the PA profession, share real-world experiences from clinical practice, and advocate for policies impacting the PA profession in Kansas and the patients we serve.

Why Participate?

Your voice matters—and it makes a difference.

  • Direct Influence: Meet face-to-face with your elected officials and share your perspective, priorities, and concerns.

  • Meaningful Advocacy: Your participation can be a critical factor in advancing legislation and securing support for the PA profession. Legislators are more likely to support PA-related legislation when they hear directly from their constituents.

  • Shape the Future: Help influence decisions that affect your livelihood, your patients, and healthcare across the state.

What to Expect

We’ll gather at the Statehouse as a united PA community to advocate on the issues that matter most.

  • New to advocacy? No problem! KAPA will provide guidance and support to help you feel prepared and confident.

  • Coordinated legislative meetings with state representatives and senators, either one-on-one or in small groups.

  • Networking opportunities with fellow Kansas PAs who share your passion for advocacy and change.
